Our grandson enjoyed this toy. He liked working the drill – screws in and screws out. Not sure how long the batteries will last! He can do it by hand if need be but not as much fun as using the drill. At first he just drilled the bits in and didn’t bother with creating a pattern (there is a pattern book included). He will need someone to get him started on following the patterns but it was a successful purchase. Good that all the bits and the drill can fold up in the case too (as long as you remove all the screws that you have drilled in!).
